Change of Heart, Change of Style

So recently I've been thinking about my style and I must say I am not very fond of it. I feel like I am missing out something and I feel like all those colorful clothing I buy every time is starting to loose its charm. I don't know, maybe it's because I am growing old? I gotta say I ain't how I used to be.
In fact, I have turned into one of those people who use the same old sticky note app, cause they feel downloading a different one is adventurous! This is literally how old people feel!
 '

Either it be age or common sense, I don't like that I keep going for the glittery, the shiny, the out of the box items. And let me tell you, when you combine three out of the box thingies all you get are scrambled eggs with sequins. Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing my best and this in addition makes me kinda depressed, and when I'm kinda depressed I go second hand shopping and when we get to this phase, you know shit's going down. I opt for the brightest, most colorful unpractical piece of clothing and when I get back home I end up been depressed all over again. Is it me or do you guys also feel there is a pattern?

I am in a midlife fashion crisis, which I confess is totally a "first world"problem, but I really don't care. The point is, I decided to try and change my style to the way I have always wanted it to be. I had my grunge phase, my pink phase, my Harajuku phase, now I have a dramatic crisis phase in which I want to incorporate colors but in a more casual and structured way, the old people's way....So, one of the first purchases I got which follow this rule are these bell bottom pants. I got them from the second hand shop Remix, but they originally are Mango.

These are well fitted, neutral color, which is practical and well balanced, while on the otherspectrum we have a bright chunky tomato-red sweater with a stripped blouse underneath. I like how this outfit turned out, but it's still not I want to achieve, I have a long way to go.

So any of you guys felt like this? Or have you always been 100% sure in your style?

Florals in the Winter - A floral Denim Dress Outfit

Hello ladies, and gents if there are any. Even if there are, why are you reading a girl's fashion blog!? Don't you have a life? I'm just kidding, I don't have a life too! I've been repeating my days like some sort of a sick twisted Bold and the Beutiful episode. Wake up in the morning, play with doge, go to work, work, go back home, play videogames. Repeat. I feel like I am wasting my youth away, so I recently downloaded Al Jazeera's news app so I can have a notion of what is going on in the outside world without practically going outside.

As it turns out this was a  mistake because the app only updates me when there are emergency homicidal situations, mass genocide situations, basically I feel like ALJazeera is cherry picking all of the news involving despair and doom and forwarding it my way. I just wanted to have common knowledge of the current world and I got an apocalypse!

Speaking of, I wore this outfit to the movies last week and went all ballistic with the colors. Since the cold came to Bulgaria too, I've been dressing really lazy and sloppy cause I don't have the motivation to think of something original when the wind is peeling my skin off. The cinema time was the perfect occasion to dress up a little, knowing perfectly well that the boyfriend will drive my floral ass back and forward in the car like some sort of a vegetable.

The movie we saw was The Commuter with Liam Neeson and boy did it suck bad! If you've seen one Liam Neeson movie you've seen them all. It starts off promising and just when you start thinking "Hey now this is something neeew!? the absurdity sets in and you are forced to munch your popcorn in silence, as your brain is exploding with so many witty references on how bad this movie is.
All I could think about throughout the movie was how much I wish I was home on my sofa, with freshly brushed teeth cause the popcorn got stuck on so many places I can't mention without sounding erotic.

I thrifted this dress last summer and  I've been wearing it only to the beach and back, unitl I realized it's super practical because it goes with sweaters so well and makes every outfit super cozy and comfy for the winter. I styled the dress with a cold shoulder top and over the knee socksies, since it was still freezing and I wanted to add a dash of skankyness as well.
As you can see the current hair color is the final one, since the boyfriend does not allow me to dye it anymore. I've got blue, yellow, pink, purple, green and basically everything else BUT lavender.....
All those DIY at home youtube tutorials helped in a sense that I didn't go bald, so there's that!
Do you guys like it?

The Ugliest Flats You Will Ever See OOTD

Imagine my enthusiasm when I found this pair of horrific flats with pink fur accent. The boyfriend was perplexed when he saw them and thought they were slippers for home, after I went out with them in the street he was even more perplexed.

I probably should stop buying ugly clothes since I tend to get a lot of negative feedback regarding the way I dress. It usually doesn't bother me, because when I wear my weird clothes I become delirious and feel as delicious as yesterday's microwaved pizza. I notice people stare, but I think it's because I'm awesome not because they are appalled by my furry flats. Self delusion is my specialty.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish I was a fish, cause they can be shiny and colorful without anyone been judgy. I'm halfway there though, I have the prickly eyes and the constant blank stare with the mouth wide open.

Regardless, every cell in my body was screaming of joy when I saw these furries and I immediately knew these would be a tough cookie to style. I thought if I am going to go over the top, let's go as high as possible, so I styled them with a slip on dress, sweatshirt underneath and heart printed socks.

This silver slip on dress is from Zara and I bought it last year for a vacation to the Sea. I was planning to be a mermaid, but it seems the dress is for girls with boobs and we all know I have lost this battle long ago. Even so, I still manage to incorporate the dress in the more colder months with sweaters underneath, where having a cleavage is not necessary. Yaaaay?

As you can see the hair situation was getting out of hand when I took these photos. I dyed it blonde by mistake and then dyed the ends pink since I didn't wanna resemble mother of dragons..... It is blue and pink now and I'm going to show you more from it on my next post.

I was too lazy to photoshop the dog hairs on my tights, so brace yourselves, unperfection is coming!
